13.2 Immediate Safety Procedures (Shelter-in-Place / Lockdown)
- In the event of a warning or emergency alert, the center will immediately initiate a lockdown or shelter-in-place procedure.
- All children and staff will be moved to designated safe indoor areas, away from windows and external walls.
- Doors will be secured and access restricted until further instructions are received from authorities.
- Children will remain calm and supervised at all times, with staff providing reassurance and emotional support.
